Every year Canada welcomes over 150,000 foreign skilled workers to work on temporary work permits. In order to work in Canada, the applicant requires an employment letter from a Canadian employer.
Requirements to work in Canada:
Your employer applies for Labour Market Impact Assessment to hire you
Your employer pays the compliance fee and submits an employment letter to Citizenship and immigration Canada (CIC).
You must meet the requirement to enter and stay in Canada, and to obtain a work permit.
A work permit does not guarantee your permanent stay in Canada. To obtain permanent residency, please visit the “Immigration” section of this website.
